Santa Isabel College of Manila (Philippines)

Ararao, Maribel Miguel
Maribel is an alumna of Santa Isabel College of Manila, finishing her Bachelor of Music degrees in Music Education and Vocal Performance under Salvacion Oppus-Yniguez. She obtained her Master of Music in Voice, magna cum laude, under Prof. Josefina Garlit-Bailen.

Her early music experiences included being a choir member at the Paco Parish Church Choir and being a glee club member during her senior high school year at Araullo High School where she was the choir soloist when they won 1 st Place at a choir competition in Metro Manila. She also joined the San Miguel Master Chorale in 2001.

Maribel has performed both here and abroad as a featured soloist. She made her operatic debut as Mimi in the Philippine Opera Company’s production of La Boheme in October, 2008 at the Cultural Center of the Philippines under the baton of Helen Quach. She also performed in oratorios such as Elijah by Mendelssohn and The Redeemer by Lucio San Pedro. She has also performed as soloist for Symphony no.9 by L. van Beethoven and Masses by G.Rossini and W.A. Mozart.

She currently teaches voice and other music sciences at the Santa Isabel College of Manila Conservatory of Music. She is the conductor of the Executive Chorale of Pamantasan Lungsod ng Maynila. She is also handling the Corporate Chorale of Team Energy at the Fort Bonifacio Global City as Choir Director.

She is now happily married to Jesse Ararao with two kids Gabriel John M.Ararao and Izza Rose M.Ararao.

Genzola, Ma. Monica M.
Monica finished her Bachelor of Music in Music Education degree in 2016, cum laude, from Santa Isabel College of Manila. She has been a consistent academic scholar in college. She has also been a recipient of several awards among these are: 2016 Outstanding Performance Award Instrumental Competition for Piano, St. Cecilia’s Award, St. Louise de Marillac Award, and Outstanding Student Teacher Award. At present, she teaches piano, voice, and beginner
violin at the Lyric Institute of Music and Related Arts. She is also a member of the Musique d’Chambre and Musikadenza as vocalist, pianist and violinist.

Genzola, Pio Martin M.
Pio Martin finished her Bachelor of Music in Music Education degree in 2016, magna cum laude, from Santa Isabel College of Manila. He has been a consistent academic scholar in college. He has also been a recipient of several awards among these are: 2016 Vincentian Leadership Award, St. Cecilia’s Award, St. Louise de Marillac Award, and
Outstanding Student Teacher Award. At present, he is a Piano Technology Apprentice under the Ignacio Tuason, the country’s foremost Master Piano Technician. He is also serves as a choir instructor and liturgical organist. He is also a member of the Musique d’Chambre and Musikadenza as vocalist, pianist and cellist.

Inanuran, Martin Sean J.
Martin holds a Bachelor of Music degree in Music Education from Santa Isabel College of Manila. He started learning the guitar at the age of 13 and started formal lessons under Prof. Edgardo de Dios at the age of 18. Apart from his major instrument, he also took piano lessons under Prof. Bernica Sioson-Tuason, viola under Prof. Joy
Allan Dela Cruz, and voice from Prof. Ronan Ferrer. Martin enjoys sharing his music through performances both as a
soloist and as a member of music ensembles which led him to join the Santa Isabel Guitar Ensemble and the Santa Isabel College Chamber Orchestra during his years as an undergraduate student. Knowing that his musical abilities are a gift from God, he plays the organ and teaches their church choir as a way of serving the Lord. He is currently pursuing Graduate studies in Music Education at Santa Isabel College of Manila.

Sr. Belen H. Laurenaria, SFSC
Sr. Belen is a faculty member of Santa Isabel College of Manila where she also finished her Bachelor and Master of Music degrees major in Music Education. She also took up studies in Liturgical Music and is actively involved in the field of liturgy as her congregation’s organist, liturgist, as well as choir and music director. She is a member of various professional organizations in music: Philippine Society for Music Educators, Federation of Tagalog Diocesan Liturgical Music Commission, and the Diocesan Council for Religious. She is also the Official Musician and Liturgist of the Religious Consecrated Life – Diocese of Parañaque.

Macasado, Mylen Macrohon
Mylen hails from the City of Puerto Princesa in Palawan and is a graduate of Santa Isabel College of Manila for Bachelor of Music in Music Education and Vocal Performance. She is also continuing her Graduate studies in
Vocal Performance. Presently, Mylen is Head Teacher at the Vivace Music Center and is Music Director of Our Lady of Immaculate Conception Outreach Ministry. She is also a member of the Piano Teachers’ Guild of the Philippines where she was Board Member from 2009-2011.

Mahipus, Emely Jane Namit
Emely Jane is a Licensed Professional Teacher and alumna of Santa Isabel College of Manila Conservatory of Music where she finished her Bachelor of Music and Master of Music degrees in Music Education and Vocal Performance. She was awarded Silver Medal for Proficiency in Piano Ensemble. She was a finalist at the 1987 National Music Competitions for Young Artists (NAMCYA) Voice Category C.

Presently, she is a member of the Faculty member at the Santa Isabel College of Manila Conservatory of Music and Graduate School, as well as the Conductor of Central United Methodist Church (CUMC) Tagalog Chancel Choir. She is sings Soprano for the CUMC English Chancel Choir.
